Mr. Lim was sitting in his room reading a newspaper. Suddenly, he heard a loud crashing sound. He felt his bed sliding a little.
         He quickly stood up and went to open the front door. He was shocked. The front part of his house was gone.
         A heavy rain had washed away the earth from under his house causing a landslide and carried away the front part of his house.
         Mr. Lim quick climbed out through the living-room window. He ran to his neighbour’s house for help.
         Luckily, Mr. Lim was alone in his house at that moment. His wife and his two children were away visiting his mother-in-law.
         Mr. Lim’s neighbours helped him to save some of his belongings. Poor Mr. Lim! He had to find a new place to stay
