TITLE: Between Light and Dark
AUTHOR: Mala
RATING: R
CODES: Maria DeLuca's POV
SUMMARY: Her friends are dead or distant...and Maria tries to cope with what she has left: herself. A possible, alternate future.
ABBY'S THOUGHTS:I could feel every inhale Maria took. It amazes me at how well someone can know one character. Bubbly with life and befriending every one she meets, if something tragic were to happen, Maria would definately be the kind of person to retreat into herself. I shudder everytime I read this story.

TITLE: Broken
AUTHOR: Lisa
RATING: G
CODES: Diane Evans's POV
SUMMARY: The evening of "The End of the World" when Max comes home.
ABBY'S THOUGHTS: This story feels like it actually happened. When you read it, although brief in length, you're moved beyond belief. Make sure you have tissue handy.

TITLE: Hail Jing-Bang
AUTHOR: Red the Mighty
RATING: PG-13 to R (Chapter 27 may be considered NC-17 by some)
CODES: Other (CC)
SUMMARY: Secret bases, conspiracies, evil aliens, truth, lies, betrayal, and things not being as they seem. All that good stuff.
SPOILERS: Could be anything up to To Serve and Protect, I suppose. But there aren't too many spoilers here.
MAXIE'S THOUGHTS: Pull up a comfortable chair, folks, you're in a for a treat! This is not merely a story. It is a full-fledged Roswell novel. A way Season 2 could have been different. There's definitely something for everyone here. And you want to know the best part? There's a sequel in the works. It doesn't get better than this!

TITLE: Telling Stories
AUTHOR: Livia
RATING: G
CODES: Brody Davis's POV
SUMMARY: After "Ask Not," Max has his promised chat with Brody.
SPOILERS: Contains spoilers for "Ask Not" and "The White Room".
MAXIE'S THOUGHTS: I've always wondered just how Max answered Brody's question. Now I know! Another story that feels like it's a part of an episode we didn't get to see on TV.

TITLE: Time Immemorial
AUTHOR: X_tremeroswellian
RATING: R for language, violence, content, character death
CODES: Story, angst/friendship
SUMMARY: Unable to bear the guilt she feels, Liz uses the granolith to travel back in time in a desperate attempt to prevent an ennemy from wreaking havoc on her friends.
SPOILERS: Up through and including "Departure," but especially for "The End of the World," and "Cry Your Name" and all events after "Cry Your Name." Also, some spoilers for my series, "Before I Knew You."
MAXIE'S THOUGHTS: The episode "post-Departure" that will never be, but should! This is a must-read for all Alex fans.
