The Bull Awards
The roth ring No Bull Award is presented to sites deemed by the ringmaster as those epitomizing the quintessence of graphic design as described in our standards statement.

The roth ring Full O' Bull Award is presented to rip-off sites, and those that just plain suck.

Nominations for the Bull Awards are accepted from members and non-members alike. Any and all free (or not so free) graphics sites are eligible.

Those of you who play the ancient and honorable game of darts will understand the visual puns involved in the design of the awards. Everyone else is urged to go to the nearest pub to learn the nomenclature & nuances of darts and join in the fun.

Nothing quite like guys, girls, beer and sharp flying missles.

How to nominate a site
Making nominations for the roth ring No Bull Award is quite simple.

To submit a web site for No Bull Award consideration, please e-mail the ringmaster at roth_ring@yahoo.com with the word 'nobull' in the subject line, and the URL of the nominated site in the body of the e-mail. If you wish to be recognized as the person who nominated the site for the award, please type your name in the body also; otherwise, the award will be ascribed to 'annonymous'.

To submit a web site for Full O' Bull Award consideration, please e-mail the ringmaster at roth_ring@yahoo.com with the word 'fullbull' in the subject line, and the URL of the nominated site in the body of the e-mail.

Check back here from time to time to see if the site you nominated has been added to our halls of fame or shame.

No Bull Award Winners
The roth ring No Bull Award is a most highly prized award for graphic artists dedicating their time and talent to the pursuit of hanging free desktop wallpapers and other graphics for all to steal.

No Bull Sites for the first year of the new millennium:
  • January 2001 - Conrad for his Swazigon.
    • This site contains some very 'dark' and foreboding imagery amply illustrating the angst of youth adrift in a world of modern anomie (or as Conrad would say 'drowning').
      Damn! How's that for some psychobabble?

    • Nice images of interstellar objects in every common desktop size.
