The Nature of Angels

Angels are Living Manifestations of the Attributes of GOD.

Before I begin with Creation of the Angelic realms, I would like to explain the nature of Angels.  Have you ever wondered about the nature of Angels?  In what way do Angels differ from man?  The Angelic Hosts were GOD's first Creation.  The Book of Job tells us that the Angelic Hosts rejoiced when our Universe was created.  “Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? ... while the Morning Stars sang together and all the Angels shouted for joy?”  Job 38:4-7.  The Bible does not explain the creation of Angels or their nature, except to say that “man was created a little lower than the Angels.”  That is because the Bible is the story of OUR Creation, not that of the Angelic beings.

Compared to man, Angels are tremendously powerful beings.  They are superior to man in every way, in knowledge, in power, in strength, in ability, and in intelligence.  But Angels differ to man in basically these ways:
1.  Angels are living manifestations of the attributes of GOD, we are not.
2.  Angels are absolute pure beings, we are not.
3.  Angels radiate their qualities into Creation, we do not.

1.  Angels ~ Living Manifestations

What are Angels?  Angels are the attributes of GOD personified as living beings with independent life and consciousness.  Attributes such as Power, Light, Strength, Virtue, Healing, etc.  For example, one of GOD's attributes is Light.  Now GOD has Light within Himself and He also projects that Light out of Himself.  Lucifer was the first being created as the living manifestation of GOD's Light.  Michael was the first being created as the living manifestation of GOD's Power.  OK so now you get the idea.


2.  Angels ~ Absolute Pure Beings

By “absolute” I mean that whatever an Angel is, it is absolutely.  For example, an Angel cannot Love and hate at the same time.  It will either Love completely or hate completely, but it cannot contain both opposing qualities within itself.  Note: I am only using Love and Hate as one example here.  There are many other qualities such as Light and Darkness, Holiness and Defilement, Humility and Pride, etc, which are relevant also.

Man on the other hand, can Love and he can also hate.  For example, I can Love my mother and hate my father.  Man is therefore, a composite being.  He is capable of containing opposing and conflicting qualities within himself.  Man's nature consists of both good and evil in one, and he is continually torn in his inner being between these two opposing qualities.  Angels on the other hand, are not.  They are either one or the other.  An Angel cannot contain both good and evil within himself.  He is either 100% pure or 100% corrupt.  This is what I mean when I say that Angels are “absolute” beings.  An Angel can never be 99% pure and 1% corrupt as they are not composite beings as we are.

Therefore, when a Angel sins, that sin is ABSOLUTE.  This means:
1.  An Angel sins with and in it's entire being.
2.  The sin is complete in all it's aspects.  In other words, it is perfect Sin.

So we only have two types of Angels: those who are 100% perfect, and those who are 100% imperfect.  There is nothing else in-between.  So when Lucifer sinned, he sinned in his entire being and that Sin was absolutely complete in him.  I hope you are grasping the concept of “absolutes” so far because this is extremely important in understanding the nature of Angels.


3.  Angels Radiate their Qualities into Creation

Angels differ to man in another way also.  Angels project whatever they are into Creation, man does not.  They do this because Angels embody GOD's attributes in their purest forms.

We humans do not radiate what we are into Creation.  Our physical bodies of flesh and blood prevents us from doing this.  But this is a good thing because since we are composite beings, think of what would we radiate!  We could never radiate anything pure in our composite state.  Angels on the other hand can.  They project whatever they are into Creation, and this includes the fallen Angels.  The fallen Angels, however, no longer radiate GOD's attributes, they radiate their own qualities which are the complete reverse of GOD's attributes.  

That is why GOD commanded man not to confer with the Supernatural, because these fallen Angels are so powerful, they radiate their contamination into everything they come into contact with - including man's soul - which is defiled by merely having contact with them.  “Do not turn to mediums, or seek out familiar spirits, for you will be DEFILED by them.  I am the LORD your GOD.”  Leviticus 19:31.
