Certain IBM notebooks include Intel Pentium
processors with Intel SpeedStep technology. With
Intel SpeedStep, processor speed may be reduced to
conserve battery power.
2. For all
laptops, the chipset uses some main memory for the
video subsystem. For models without a separate
memory card, memory supports both system and
video. The amount used will vary depending on
useage. Thus, actual accessible system memory is
less than the amount stated. Maximum memory varies
depending on model and may require replacement of
standard memory with optional maximum memory
module.
3. When referring to storage
capacity, GB = 1 billion bytes. Accessible
capacity may be less.
4. For preloaded
software, some software may differ from its retail
version (if available), and may not include user
manuals or all program functionality. Software
license agreements may apply. IBM makes no
representations or warranties regarding
third-party products or services.
5. Designed to be capable of
receiving data at up to 56Kbps with compatible
phone line and server equipment, and transmitting
data at up to 31.2Kbps. Actual speeds vary and are
often less than the maximum possible
6. CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives
list maximum rates; rates are variable and are
often less than the maximum. For combination
drives, maximum speeds are given in the following
order: CD read, CD write, CD re-write, DVD read,

Notes stand-alone client license is included at no
extra charge. Installation CDs can be ordered via
