Strategies: Internet access for the masses in UK
The article proposes that the Internet is coming closer to being an everyday feature in the lives of UK consumers, further fuelling the high adoption rates in this part of the world. Access points for the Internet are expected to rise to 60,000 units by the end of 2002, in places such as Internet cafes, Internet kiosks, public libraries, supermarkets and pubs. This notion will modernise traditional supermarkets as they extend their product/service offerings to include new technology.
