| Character Profiles Maxwell Evans- Landed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Him and his sister were later adopted by the Evans family after they awoke from their pods in the late 1980s. From that day, Max, Isabel, and Michael have had to keep their secret to protect themselves from everyone including their parents. Max immediately became the glue and the life-force of the three. He has always felt invisible in this world but has attempted the most to feel and act human. Yet at the same time he has always felt isolated in his world and never felt that his home was really his. This made him very shy. At a very young age he developed a long lasting love, for a young, beautiful girl named Liz Parker. Max never thought he would be able to be close to Liz. He would never want to hurt her, for he knew one day the reason why he was brought to Earth would come out. While his sister dated guys, Max never wanted to get too involved with a girl, so she wouldn't end up hurt...especially Liz. But one day at his favorite place to eat, The Crashdown Cafe, he risked his own existence to save the girl he loves. Liz was shot by accident from a quarrel between two men. Max was able to dissolve the bullet and save her life. From then on, his life would never be the same. Max was beginning to experience his first love, with Liz Parker. This made him feel what he had been searching for a long time, real, true love. Max and Liz are very much in love and were happy for a short while. At the end of his sophomore year, he had answers to many questions. He found out that he is indeed the leader of the now four aliens. The fourth being Tess, a "person" who disrupted the true love between Liz and Max. Later Max found out Tess was his destiny, and that they were married to her in their home planet. They, along with Isabel and Michael were sent to Earth to battle the evil aliens and save their home planet. Right now, Max and Liz are separated, but you never know. Max's favorites: Spicy food, especially if it contains lots of Tabasco sauce, or extremely sweet things. He likes hanging out with his friends (who know he's an alien), his sister, and his girlfriend Liz. In West Roswell High, Max is on the wrestling team. And even if it is unusual, awkward, or simply weird, he works at the UFO center. Of the Roswell aliens, Max is surely the sweetest and nicest. Liz Parker- Liz Parker was born to a family that owns one of the most popular spots in Roswell. Her parents own the Crashdown Cafe. She is a waitress there with her best friend Maria. Liz was a plain, normal girl in a small town, until one day her life changed when she was shot at the Crashdown. Liz was saved by Max Evans. When he saved her, they experienced a connection. Giving her back her life, meant that his life was now in her hands and that she needed to keep his secret. Liz right away told Maria, and later, had to tell Alex. Liz from the beginning has loved Max. They were both experiencing their first love. Liz, in the beginning of her sophomore year, was dating Kyle Valenti, the sheriff's son, but later broke up with him. At first, Max and Liz tried not to get involved, and keep their love platonic, but couldn't. They knew their love would bring consequences, and that things would not be easy. Well, they weren't. Tess Harding came to scene, and she turned out to be a 4th alien. She brought many changes in Max's and Liz relationship, because it seems like Tess is Max's destiny, they are supposed to be together. Liz understood this so called "Destiny" and sacrificed her relationship with Max, so she could fulfill his destiny and save his home planet. Liz Favorites: Her favorite ice cream is vanilla. She is a very good student, especially in Science. This year she lost her grandmother, Claudia, who was the center of her universe. Liz is a quiet, sweet, and intelligent girl. Michael Guerin- Landed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. When Michael, Max, and Isabel awoke from their pods, Michael was separated from them and adopted by a guy named Hank Guerin. Hank was an alcoholic who abused Michael mentally and physically for a long time. He used Michael for the support checks. Michael learned at a very young age not to never rely on anyone but himself. He has built a brick wall in his soul to prevent anyone from knowing the real him. Due to feeling alone and like an outsider, Michael fueled all of his energy into finding the truth. Sometimes into finding the truth, he has made irrational decisions and Max always comes to fix it. Max and Isabel are the closest thing Michael has to a family. Sophomore year, the truth of his existence was known to Liz Parker, Maria de Luca, and Alex Whitman. This made him uncomfortable, feeling like people had one up on him. Even though he had this feeling, he began a relationship with Maria de Luca. At first, for Michael the relationship was purely physical, but then it became more. The one good thing about his life, he thought was that when they did find the truth, he had nothing to leave behind. When he began to love her, the first thing he did was pull away. As of right now, Michael has left Maria behind because he fears he might hurt her after killing an agent using his powers, which he has always struggled to control. This may all change after he has separated from Maria to help fellow aliens, Isabel, Max, and Tess fight the evil aliens. Michel at his home planet was Max's second in command. He was engaged to Isabel. It is believed that he is Tess' brother. Michael has shown caring moments but shuts them down when people get too close. Before the aliens found out their destiny, Michael broke free from Hank. He was living alone in an apartment and got a job as a cook at the Crashdown Cafe. Maria, his girlfriend is a waitress there. Michael favorites: Michael loves Tabasco sauce and pistachio ice cream. His favorite TV show is Win Ben Stein's Money. His favorite novel is Ulysses by James Joyce. Michael isn't known for his perfect attendance, but he is a very intelligent being. All he wants to do, is go home. He is a very complex character, and will defend who and what he loves at all costs. Isabel Evans- Isabel and her brother Max were adopted by the Evans after they awoke from their pods. Out of the two, Isabel adjusted the best to their new lives. She is very hesitant to let anyone in. She is afraid to get too close. Once Isabel found out that Liz knew, she took the role of keeping Max in check. She recently developed her first love for Alex Whitman. Although as of right now Alex and Isabel are separated, Isabel truly cares and needs Alex in her life. Isabel's favorites: Her favorite things are clothes, boys, visualizing Ricky Martin in the shower, hanging out at the Crashdown Cafe, Tabasco sauce, and going to the movies Maria Deluca - Maria was abandoned by her father at an early age. She was left behind with her mother Amy. Maria and her mother became very close due to this. Maria is a witty and wacky person. She enjoyed being Liz's wacky best friend. That role changed when Liz was shot at the Crashdown. When she found out the truth she realized that Liz would no longer be the straight A's, all-American small town girl she was before. Unlike Liz, at first Maria didn't like the aliens. She didn't want to help or felt absolutely nothing for them. That later changed. She began a relationship with Michael and grew to like Max and Liz. Maria's comic relief has helped some situations. Maria's favorites: Maria's favorites include cedar oil, singing especially in her best friend Alex's band, talking, and hanging out with her best friend Liz. Maria is a very bright and funny girl who is waiting for Michael to return to her. Alex Whitman- Alex Charles Whitman was one of the last humans to know the truth of the aliens. Best friends with Liz and Maria for a very long time, at first when they hid the secret from him he was angry. He didn't know what was going on and it was killing him. Secretly, he has had a crush on the female alien Isabel Evans. Later, when he is told of the truth, Alex and Isabel begin to date. Their love is very sweet and innocent. Alex sometimes secretly feels inadequate to the "Elle McPherson of the sophomore class". He has a garage band called the Whits. His favorite sport is dodge ball...lol He uses his humor to mask his insecurities especially with girls. No one can take away though that he is an extremely good person and is a good friend to Liz and Maria. Alex has accepted Isabel's destiny but will be waiting for her when she needs him. |
