SEASON THREE PREMIERE: "The Honeymoon's Over- Date: October 5- Prue and Phoebe lie on the stand during a murder trial, setting a killer free and endangering the life of an assistant district attorney (Julian McMahon). Guest star: the Barenaked Ladies. "Magic Hour"- Date: October 12- The sisters try to unite two young lovers kept apart by a sorcerer's curse; a defiant Piper secretly plans her wedding to Leo. "Once Upon A Time"- Date: October 19- To save a girl's life, Prue and Phoebe return to an earlier time when they innocently believed in fairies and trolls; Piper goes on strike. "All Halliwell's Eve"- Date: October 26- The sisters travel back in time to help a coven of witches in colonial Virginia and protect their own futures. "Sight Unseen"- Date: November 2- After the house is burglarized, the sisters become consumed with finding out more about the evil force that is stalking them. "Primrose Path"- Date: November 9- When a spell backfires, Prue takes on all of the pain in the world and is flattened by the overwhelming flood of human emotion. "Power Outage"- Date: November 16- Cole uses petty anger between Prue, Phoebe and Piper to break their sisterly bond and smash the bedrock of their powers. "Sleuthing With the Enemy"- Date: December 14- After Cole's true identity is revealed, Phoebe must decide between following her heart or defying her sisters. "Coyote Piper"- Date: January 11- When a she-demon takes possession of Piper before her 10-year high-school reunion, it is up to Prue and Phoebe to rescue their unsightly sister. "We All Scream For Ice Cream"- Date: January 18- An evil ice-cream man lures Prue and Phoebe into another dimension, where they are tricked into harming an innocent person. Guest star: James Read. "Blinded By the Whitelighter"- Date: January 25- The sisters battle a warlock who exterminates witches and takes their powers; an interfering "Whitelighter" causes friction between Piper and Leo . "Wrestling with the Demon"- Date: Febuary 1- When Prue discovers that her ex-boyfriend (guest star Marco Sanchez) is mutating into a demon, she and her sisters battle for his soul in an underworld wrestling ring. WCW wrestlers Slammer, Thunder and Mega-Man also guest star. Bride and Gloom"- Date: Febuary 8- A warlock tricks Prue into marrying him in an effort to steal the Book of Shadows; Phoebe and Piper turn to the dark side and delight in their evil powers. "The Good, The Bad and the Cursed"- Date: Febuary 15- When Phoebe becomes caught up in a ghost town's violent past, Prue must travel back in time to rescue her sister from an appalling fate. "Just Harried"- Date: Febuary 22- Piper's wedding day is jeopardized when Prue is arrested on suspicion of murder after her astral self engages in late-night shenanigans. "Death Takes A Halliwell"- Date: March 15- Prue staves off the Angel of Death while trying to save someone's life, but she ultimately comes to terms with the inevitable. "PreWitched"- Date: March 22- As Piper and Leo prepare to move out, the sisters remember what life was like before they found out they were the most powerful witches of all time. "Sin Francisco"- Date: April 19- A demon forces the sisters to wrestle with the seven deadly sins -- greed, pride, envy, anger, gluttony, lust and sloth. "The Demon who came in from the Cold"- Date: April 26- Cole joins the sisters and Leo in their battle against evil, but their trust in him is tested when they begin to suspect he is double-crossing them. From Teen People: The magical hour that shows the power of three is awesome indeed. In its third season, Charmed is finally doing what seemed like a no- brainer from day one: a Halloween episode. But the three Halliwell witches will have other demons to face as well... LOVE: "Radical Change." "Huge surprise." These are phrases executive producer Brad Kern tosses around in connection with Piper and Leo. "The writers are still trying to play the forbidden love angle," says Brian. "a little Romeo and Juliet thing." Whatever happens, its going to happen in the season premiere- without any interference form Dan, whos moved away. As for Prue, she may fall for a man in the past- "as long ago as 330 years," says Kern. Phoebe, who's gone back to school, gets a brand new character to spice up her love life. Alas, his "allegiances to good and evil will come into question," says Kern. LADIES: Barenaked that is. The Canadian band will appear at Piper's club. LEGEND: "There's a reason why the three most powerful witches are alive and together now," say Kern. In other words, the Charmed Ones destiny will be revealed, and a huge battle with a powerful evil force is looming. Now for the good news: Phoebe will discover a new active power- one that'll be more usefulin a crisis than her gift of premonition.
