In what part of North America does your tribe live?  What states are in this area now?  What are the landform characteristics of this area?  (For example, bodies of water, rivers, mountain chains, forests, oceans, deserts, etc.)  Explain the climate and growing season.  How do the landforms and climate impact your tribe's shelter, food, clothing, art, and customs?









SHELTER

In what type of shelter does your tribe live?  From what natural resources are your homes made?   How big are they?  How many people live in each home?  Why is this type of shelter designed as it is?









PLANTS & ANIMALS

Describe plants and animals native to this region.  Describe your tribe's relationship to native plants and animals.  How are they used?  Are your tribe members hunters, gatherers, or farmers?    What kinds of food are eaten?  Do their foods differ during the seasons?









CLOTHING 
What kinds of clothing does your tribe wear?  From what materials are your clothes made?  Describe men's and women's clothing.  How do your clothes relate to your region?  Do you have different types of clothing for different occasions such as traditional ceremonies and daily living?









ART
Describe the art that was contributed by your tribe.  How are these pieces of art created? Describe what this artwork might represent.   Is  your tribe's artwork intended as an object of beauty, or does it serve a functional purpose? 







CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS
Describe the celebrations and traditions of your tribe.  What or why did they celebrate?  What customs do you honor (for instance, describe wedding ceremonies, naming their babies, religions, legends, beliefs, etc.)
