| Attention Royal Students: At Royal Elementary School, you are encouraged to participate in our Reading Incentive Program. You may earn points by reading books and demonstrating that you comprehend what you've read by taking computerized Accelerated Reader (AR) Tests. The more "just right" books you read, the more points you earn! The Royal PTO has contributed prizes to reward the students for reading. At the end of the first 9 weeks grading period, students will be given a keychain (Kindergarteners and 1st graders) or a necklace (2nd-5th graders). Students can earn cool tags or charms for earning lots of points. Classes will also receive recognition for their efforts on our board located outside of the library. The classes who have best met our schoolwide reading goals will recieve a prize! As an additional incentive, Royal Elementary School was invited by Congressman Bob Ethridge to participate in the "Keys to Success" program. Students who read 100 or more books by April will recieve a reward from the Congressman. Keep reading! |
