Does your child require medication/medical procedures at school?
Effective November 1, 2007, Franklin County school nurses will no longer be able to provide students with any of the over-the counter medications they have supplied in the past (hydrocortisone, calamine lotion, etc.) If your child requires any type of treatment with an over the counter medication, proper forms needs to be completed prior to coming to school.
Students in grades PK-5 are still required to have written physician authorization for ALL medication needed during school hours.
