To become an apprentice the following must be completed:
- 1. Achieve the rank of Squire.
2. Select a Master to whom you will apprentice.
3. Memorize the Artisans Guild Scripture and be familiar with the ideal.
4. Write a 500-word report on your particular art or craft form and present it at a house meeting.
5. Present at least 1 of your products at a house meeting.
6. Enter at least 1 Artisan Guild competition.
