The Deacon may add one 2” red band around the bottom of his mantle, and he receives the right to add a second 3/8” cord to his belt. This second cord is to be red. A red tassel for each end of his belt shall be presented to him at an official function of State.
To obtain Deacon status, a Brother must:

a. Receive the equivalent of a License to Preach with the Assemblies of God.
b. Write three original devotions in book of writings. Share these devotions, one at each of three household meetings or events.
c. Apply for advancement to Deacon and have said application approved.
