The Church As with other Assembly of God programs ROC is carefully structured to provide leadership and accountability at all levels with great emphasis placed on local church involvement and clergy participation. Just as in times of old; you must obtain permission and the support of the pastor of your church to establish a local ROC club. Pastors are a wellspring of godly council and encouragement. The ROC has a strict no conflict clause. That means the ROC is never to take away from the ministry of the local church, but rather be an extension to enhance and support the overall aims and goals of the pastor and church. The Gentry This class consists of people of high standing and esteem such as officers, staff, and benefactors which includes a broad range of positions and activities. Some people in this group are granted what we call “Court Titles” which are honorary meaning they have not completed a formal set of advancements to gain said title, however they may have preformed outstanding service such as prepared an entire feast, or donated a large sum of money to the local chapter. Subsequently their titles do not grant them any authority; it’s just a way to honor a person publicly for their service and sacrifice. To become part of the gentry you must be at the level of Nobility, which means you must have the title Lord/Lady, Knight/Dame, Master/Mistress or above. All titles of Nobility and higher are granted by the Head of State or the Crown Prince of the Royal Order of Chivalry. The Knighthood This class of individuals kind of ties in with the gentry at the upper two levels, however they are more specialized in the field of martial arts of Western Europe. The Knighthood consists of four ranks Pages, (which are “beginners”) Squires, (which are “novices”) Knight Bachelors, (which are “senior classmen”) and finally Knight Bannerets (which are the “masters” of this field). The last two ranks earn cretin privileges and rights along with their titles. The titles Knight Bachelor and Bannerett are granted by the Head of State. (The Knight’s women counter-part is Dame.) The Artisans This last class also ties in with the gentry but represents those in the field of the arts and sciences; they organize themselves into guilds that are officially recognized by the ROC. They provide the Royal Order of Chivalry with authentic goods such as clothing, wood items, music, tapestries, banners, etc…. There are also four ranks in this group Apprentices, Journeymen, Master Craftsmen and finally Guild Masters (these titles may vary according to their Guild). The last two ranks earn cretin privileges and rights along with their titles. There are many Guilds to join in the ROC every thing to tailoring to armour making to cooking. The titles Master Craftsman and Guild Master are granted by the Head of State. (The Master’s counter-part is Mistress.)
