To become an apprentice the following must be completed:
- 1. Know how to operate and name the parts of a sewing machine.
2. Know items needed to sew with.
3. Be familiar with different types of fabrics.
4. Sew a table mat and napkin of linen.
5. Describe how people sewed in the middle ages.
