Anyone wishing to compete in any tournament must have a valid Tournament Card with the appropriate endorsements. This card is issued by the Marshal of State. The card will be issued upon the memorization and explanation of the Range Rules, the general understanding of safety procedures and the filing of the Order's Activity Release. Endorsements
2. Crossbow endorsement: Range rules must be quoted and a competency shown by the individual that he can safely handle a crossbow. He must be able to place 3 out of 5 arrows into a 3'x3' target at 20 yards. 3. Spear endorsement: Range rules must be quoted and a competency shown with the safe handling of the spear. He must be able to properly throw the spear and must be able to hit a 3'x3' target at 10 yards at least 1 in 5 attempts. The proper carrying, passing and storage of the spear must be demonstrated also. 4. Javelin endorsement: Range rules must be quoted and a competency shown with the safe handling of the javelin. He must be able to properly throw the javelin and must be able to hit a 3'x3' target at 10 yards at least 1 in 5 attempts. The proper carrying, passing and storage of the spear must be demonstrated also. 5. Battle axe endorsement: Range rules must be quoted and a competency shown with the safe handling of the battle axe. He must be able to properly throw the battle axe and be able stick it in a target with one revolution at least 1 in 5 attempts. The proper carrying, passing and storage of the battle axe must be demonstrated also. 6. Throwing knife endorsement: Range rules must be quoted and a competency shown with the safe handling of the throwing knife. He must be able to properly throw the knife and be able stick it in a target with one revolution at least 1 in 8 attempts. The proper carrying, passing and storage of the throwing knife must be demonstrated also. 7. Armour endorsement: A complete understanding of the various ratings of armour must be demonstrated. The combatant must own his own minimum armour to have this rating signed off. The person must show competency in putting on his armour. He must also explain the rules of combat and demonstrate legal contact areas. 8. Sword: The sword endorsement is completed upon a through explanation of the proper construction and the use of an official fighting sword of the Order. 9. Axe: The axe endorsement is completed upon a through explanation of the proper construction and the use of an official fighting axe of the Order. 10. Pole arm: The pole arm endorsement is completed upon a through explanation of the proper construction and the use of an official pole arm of the Order. 11. Flail: The flail endorsement is completed upon a through explanation of the proper construction and the use of an official flail of the Order. 12. Melee' endorsement: A melee' endorsement is issued upon the applicants clear demonstration that he is fully capable of calling his own blows and fighting in a chivalrous manner. The Armour, Sword, Axe, Pole arm, and Flail endorsements must first be completed.
