Ah the OTHER bad-ass toy company has a few new offerings for this year. So how do you follow-up 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' and those Bruce Lee figures? Well, you snag another classic license, and a new one in black leather.
1. Star Trek; Coooooooooooooooooool. Granted, Playmates did a very good job all those years, but the new 'Enterprise' figures look amazing; outstanding sculpts and a nice choice of figures. The 'Borg Assimulation Line' looks very cool, too. And they even have a version of The Enterprise to release. Waaaay cool.
2. Dark Angel; the OTHER ass-kicking hot-babe of TV gets her own line now. Hmmmmmm... Jessica Alba and Sara Michelle Gellar on your toy-shelf... isn't that a fire-code violation?
3. The X-Files; oops. Like the 'Magic-The Gathering' figures from Hasbro, this may be a case of a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle too late. As usual, the figures look very good, and it's to see Skinner brought to life. However, I still want my Fox and Dana, not Doggett and whoever that woman in black is.
