ToyBiz
Remember when ToyBiz was taking cues from Batman figures and making tons o' versions of Spidey?  ... ok, so that hasn't changed.  HOWEVER, the new products ToyBiz is releasing are taking cues from the new toy-market; better sculpts, off-the-wall characters, and don't be afraid of unconventional sources for product.

1. Marvel Legends; taking cues from DC Cirect, Art Asylum, and Todd Toys, ToyBiz went absolute ballistic with this line.  Finally, THE versions of Capt. American, Iron Man, and others that we've been dying for.  Outstanding sculpts and articulation, bases that accentuate the figures, and a great selection of figures with characters such as big-shots like Capt to off-the-wall ones like Toad.

2. Spider-Man and Friends; no, this isn't a throw-back to the cartoon from the '80s with Ice-Man and Firestar.  Think little kiddies finally getting their OWN action figures.  The concept is actually pretty cute... which could be the problem; it's CUTE.  Oh well, we'll see.

3. Spider-Man, the Movie; bad news, most of this stuff is already out.  Good news, it all still looks pretty dang good.

4. Lord of the Rings; oddly enough, the only thing I've really seen around is the Balrog.  However, the Balrog looks AWESOME; nice size, wonderful detail, and that nasty whip in hand.
