Was born 31 January 1926 in Leningrad.
In 1947 L. Russov graduated from the Tavricheskaya Street Art School in Leningrad.
In 1948-1949 L. Russov studied in I. Repin Institute.
Since 1954 he has participated in Art exhibitions.
The member of the LCRAU since 1955.
Painted portrait, genre scenes, subject and historical pictures, still life. Worked in wood sculpture, oil and water-colours paintings.
Paintings by Lev RUSSOV are in Art museums and private collections in the Russia and throughout the world.
