Background
An intelligent young man born in South Dakota, Brian grew up loving, above all other things, the Boy Scouts.  After graduating from the local community college, he entered the Parks Department as a forest ranger.  He was transferred to northern Oregon to work in the vast Redwood reserves there.

While in Oregon, Brian began to develop his political beliefs.  Deeply opposed to federal government, and interested in conspiracy theories, Brian began to associate with some of the more radical figures of the area.  However, he is totally opposed to violence, instead seeking to change the country through negotiation, diplomacy, and educating the people.  He prints a monthly newsletter on the internet, the Freedom Forum, which is very popular among all manner of conservative and right-wing believers.

While working in Oregon, Brian also became interested in the stories of the Sasquatch.  After actually finding what he believed to be Sasquatch tracks, he began a campaign to find and capture evidence of such creatures.  After a year of trying to find such a creature, he finally stumbled across a trio of the creatures in a clearing, deep in the woods.  As he was preparing to photograph them, a huge flying craft flew down from the sky, and teleported the three beasts into it.  Terrified beyond belief, Brian ran back to his tower, and began to radio his superiors with what he saw.  People began to think Brian had gone off his rocker, and he was put on temporary leave from the parks department.  It was about at this time that members of the Hoffman Institute approached Brian, and offered him a job.  He is one of their more experienced woodsmen, and an expert on the Sasquatch.
