Background
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Jorge's father was also an officer in the local PD.  After evicting an old woman suspected of being a mambo, or witch-women, Jorge's father was found dead in his squad car.  While the doctor ruled it a heart attack from natural causes, Jorge knew it had something to do with the old woman.  Afraid she would try to take her revenge on him, he started to take many, supernatural precautions.

As an adult, Jorge followed his father into the local police department.  A talented investigator and one of the few straight cops in the crooked department, Jorge grew to be well respected in the community, though some called him mad because of his adherence to superstition.  Jorge eventually met an old, blindman, whom he saved from muggers.  The man taught Jorge a few, basic Voodoo hexes.  He started to use Ayza's Juju as a self-defense measure, and starts everyday by casting this spell on himself.

One day, Jorge seized a group of Colombian drug runners he suspected of bringing a few pounds of drugs into the state.  Instead, he found a large freezer crate . . . containing the body of a little grey man!  Before Jorge could make any reports, he returned home to find his home ransacked.  Using the loa Ayza to help him, Jorge searched the apartment himself, and found a bomb.  Leaving just in time to save his life, Jorge notices a pair of dark figures watching him as he ran for his life from the street.  Jorge left New Orleans, and headed north.  In Atlanta, he contacted an old NOPD friend of his, who, after hearing his story, introduced him to the Hoffman Institute.  Jorge currently acts as a field agent, and maintains a small home in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.
