What is Academia?
Academia is a massive text-based role-playing game (MTBRPG) conceived and produced by John Raul R. Joven II with DFIVEJ for Windows operating system. The operating systems supported are Windows 2000 and Windows xp.
When did Academia started?
Academia was first programmed by John Raul R. Joven II last January 14, 2003, during the trimestral break of AMA Computer College Davao Campus.
Why did you program Academia?
Academia was programmed to sum up our programming skills and for us to know the obstacles of our course. Also, we aim to give joy to the RPG lovers, especially those who suffer from online text games.
Who are the developers of this game?
The head developer and general producer of the game is John Raul Joven II himself, in cooperation with the members of DFIVEJ: Dionell E. Rafil, Jive Gerard G. Medina, Jesty Jon V. Basa, and Joseph Anthony Mayor.
How did you program this game?
Academia was programmed in C and C++. That's it.
INSTALLATION
Why do the shortcuts from the desktop and start menu won't work?
Currently, we are working to solve this problem. Hopefully, we'll be able to fix this problem. To run Academia, locate the folder where Academia was installed and just run the executable file.
A message box appears telling the program needs cw3230.dll.
The package installation of Academia includes another installer named BorlandDll.exe. This is located in the folder where Academia files were installed. Double-click this and install the dlls in c:\windows\.
How do I uninstall Academia?
Go to the start menu and hop to the Academia folder. Double-click the Academia uninstall shortcut. |
