How To
___________________________________
This
is the 'instruction manual' so, keeping up with tradition, it's pretty dull.
Basically, the Bio Creator is like one of those DIY books. It includes a few
examples and resources but the bulk of the work (and therefore as those DIY
books love to say, "The credit and pride at the end") is yours.
Therefore, you can choose to take this site in any order you please. I have put
it in the order that I usually create characters but you might want to do it
completely differently.
You might want to check out the 'Other' section for useful tips as well. You
could also skip sections: it's really up to you.
At the bottom of the screen you'll see a little bar that looks like this: [Home] > the > will take you to the next section and the Home will take you to the Biocreator homepage.
The
next section happens to be Personality. The most important part of a
character. In this section you find out:
1: What kind of person your character is
2: What matters to him/her
3: How s/he reacts in difficult situations.
Once you have a personality you need to give it a Name. This section examines what ideas are brought across by:
1:
The letters you use
2: Sound
3: Length
4: Originality
5: Origin
But your name needs a History in order to be realistic. In History you learn the steps to creating a convincing story.
and, of course, a face: Physical. This is a guide to what your character looks like: How to create a photo and how to create a description.
Then we have the Other section just for extra tips!
