Jarid Calameeti G e n e r a l
Name: Jarid Ethan Calameeti A p p e a r a n c e Eyes: Jarid's eyes are slightly narrowed shape with dark blue irises. His eyes do not often reflect his feelings, if anything they often look cold and calculating. He is not one for showing his "soul through his eyes" as the expression goes. Hair: His hair is a mixture between ash and golden brown, depending on the lighting. The strands are somewhat long, allowing them to fall over his eyes to some extent. Most times his hair is worn straight and down, though on rare occasions he may spike it. General: Jarid stands at around five foot nine. His frame with neither lanky or bulk. Indeed, his physique rests on a more average scale for males. He doesn't make a point to work out, but he isn't lazy. His skin has a slight tan look to it and this is his natural skin color. Most would assume that he spends a lot of time outside, however this is incorrect. Although he likes the outdoors, he does not spend an excessive amount of time there (unless avoiding something or someone). Looking at his face, Jarid is not overly handsome. Some girls may find him so and some others may find him merely tolerable, or even ugly. Jarid is not too concerned by his appearance, which is shown in his state of dress. Many times Jarid will arrive in class with his shirt untucked and tie undone, or sometimes even no tie. He had never fallen into the look presentable category. Many times, people would have to pull him aside and straighten his clothes before allowing him to attend something that requires formal or nice dress. Past his face, apparel, and physique, Jarid has no real distinguishing marks upon his body to make him stand out in a crowd. Some people say that his eyes were unique but if he showed more expression through them they would be distinguishing. P e r s o n a l i t y General: On first glance, Jarid seems the cold, calculating type. He doesn't often offer conversation freely. He would rather stay in the background-watching people. To most, he seems rather standoffish. However, he will speak with people if they initiate the conversation and if he's in a good mood he may even start it. Despite his silence, Jarid is not afraid of people. He doesn't fear or spend thought on what people think of him. Jarid could be looked at as the type of person who would do anything he wishes and not care if he offended people or would embarrass himself. Although he is like this, he doesn't often show this aspect of his personality. He is often more of a loner and doing his own thing. Most people tend to leave him be, but every now and then someone would put it to their task to try and make him "social." Whatever that really meant. Jarid is not easily impressed. It takes a great deal to make him impress by something. Likewise, it takes a great deal to make him smile. Truth be told, there is only one person he knows who can make him smile and lighten up. Who is this person? His younger sister, Sarah -- a lighthearted girl. Otherwise, he is "moody." He is very determined. If he set a task to himself to do, he will do it no matter what. If there is a problem in his way we will find the means to remove it. Many would call this trait ambitious and others may refer to it as stubbornness. Either way he will find a way to make what he wants happen. Though don't get the idea that he is self-centered. He has reasonable goals and thoughts. He knows what he can control and what he cannot. Place of Birth: England. History: Jarid had a rather simple childhood. His parents were both Purebloods, however his father's home country is America. So his sister and he has a mixture of blood in their veins, country wise. This affects his accent a little bit. His British accent is not as strong as it would have been, despite the fact that he had lived in England his entire life. Although his parents were purebloods, they did not carry many of the prejudices that purebloods carried. Though they did believe that purebloods were superior to half bloods, and especially muggle-borns. Despite these thoughts, his parents were not the outspoken ones. They would only speak their thoughts in the privacy of their own home. Of course these views affected how their children thought. Jarid picked up many of his parents' thoughts towards bloodlines while his sister just seemed to brush it off. The subject did not seem to matter much to Sarah. After Jarid turned eleven he was excepted into Hogwarts and into the same house his mother had been sorted into, making her proud. While in school, Jarid distanced himself from the other students. He wasn't certain if was for mistrust or he was just not interested in the companionship that friendship offered. Either way, he was never alone, as his housemates tended to stick together.
