Owen Wrencroft

General

Name: Owen Desmond Wrencroft.
Age / Birthday: 37 / September 8.
Blood-Type: Pureblood.
Pets: Elliot, a large black owl.

Eyes: Dark blue, almost black, solid in color with a deep setting in his face. The eyelashes are also dark, but they are not long or thick in their outline of his eyes.

Hair: Thick, black strands that falls down to his shoulders. His hair is not soft, but neither is it course feeling. Owen's hair is often pulled away from his face, usually when he is working, but it is just as often left loose to sit on the side of his face and back of his neck.

General: To say Owen was a tall man would be cutting him short, one could really only say that he was a giant. His stance rests at around six foot seven as he towers above everyone. Though he is tall he is not lanky, his body has a solid built to it, suggesting that he works out to keep his muscles lean and his body in shape. Although he has a solid build, Owen could not be described as bulky, with the idea of bulging muscles, either. It was probably more safer to say that his physique rested comfortably in the middle of lean and bulk.

Past his height, which people mostly notice him for, we look at his face. Owen would not be considered handsome by some, but nor would he be considered ugly. Once more he is in between the two, leaving one the opinion of if he is handsome or not. His eyes are deep inset in his face, making his cheekbones seem to stand out more. His face has a squarish look to it around the chin. There are no distinguishing marks upon his face, though when he smiles a dimple shows itself on the right side.

His attire tends to sport dark colored boots, loss slacks, and a white shirt under a dark colored robe. Most of his clothing is loose upon his frame, but loose as hanging off his tall frame, but loose that it gave him comfort of not feeling restricted.

Strengths: Although Owens appearance would speak to most as brawn and no brain, he is actually quite intelligent. His mind is as sharp as a knife and his wit could be sharper when he deems to use it. Besides Owen's intelligence, he is also brave, but not stupid brave.

Most people would define brave as charging into something that could get them kill. Owen doesn't charge. He walks in slowly. Some could call him slow to act, but this isn't necessarily true. He prefers to analyze the problems of a situation before he takes a definite action.

Weaknesses: Despite the fact that Owen has a strong intelligence, he has a more crude outlook on life. Many would say that he had the makings to be in Slytherin, if he had ever attended Hogwarts. He is not mean per-say as that is not a quality of the Slytherin house, but he knows his goals and he is willing to do what ever means to make them happen. Though don't confuse this with his having no morals, they are there. They tend to tickle at the back of his mind. Many would question his decisions but they are usually the best in the long scheme of things.

Through his height and stance many people tend to be afraid of Owen, whether they show the fear or not. This tends to put Owen on his guard a little with how he reacts and handles things, physically. Some could say that he is wry of his strength.

History: Owen grew up in a small village in Ireland. Although his parents were purebloods, his family were not well to-do, but they got by comfortable. At a young age, it showed that Owen would be tall, as he soon outgrew all that kids in his age group (and even some above his age group). Many times he was picked up on account of his height, and in some cases he was feared. The equal relationship between feared and pick-on helped to keep Owen from turning into a bully, but it did not protect him from not receiving a few pessimestic thoughts and outlooks towards life.

As Owen grew, his body continued to grow taller, by the age of seventeen, Owen had almost reached his full height, being only six foot at the time. Through his chores on his family's estate, Owen's body started to fill out, muscle wise. His chores helping him to keep his body fit. Though do not think he spent all those years up to age seventeen doing chores.

At eleven, Owen was accepted into a couple Wizard Academy. Hogwarts and Durmstrang to name the most known. It was his father's choice that he attended Durmstrang and that he did. In school, Owen kept mostly to himself. Some would call him bookish, which to most of his fellow classmates did not seem to fit someone so big.

When Owen graduated from Durmstrang he recieved high marks in Dark Arts, Transfiguartion, and Potions, though he did well in all his courses. After graduating from the school, Owen took a position in the Ministry of Magic, in the Department of Mysteries. While Owen worked for the Ministry, he was an Unspeakable. Through his work there, he managed to survive, the Unspeakable survival rate was not always high. As an Unspeakable, he was sent into highly dangerous situation, and he was sworn never to speak of what he knew or was told.

When the Hogwarts heads disappeared, Owen was one of the men sent to investigate. When nothing turned up, Owen was "volunteered" to take over at Headmaster of the school, and in turn to keep up the search for the missing heads, at least on the school.
