Day 6 : McHenry, IL to Chicago, IL

This is IT! The last final day. The week has went by so quickly! I could not believe it. I woke up early today and left at 6 on the dot. I didn't want to be late. We had until 2 PM to make it to Chicago, and I didn't want to be SAG'ed into Chicago (The SAG trucks bring in the last stragglers and people who have mechanical problems on the bicycles). I was doing great in timing. Of course, it was raining again. We road by my old summer school, Northwestern, and also by Michael Jordan's neighborhood in Lake Forest.

This is OC Bee. He's the mascot of "Old Country Buffet" restaurant

just outside of Chicago. They supplied us with incredible oatmeal cookies!

Riding into the Columbia Yacht Club in Chicago.

A Thumbs up on the Closing Ceromonies.

Just one street can't contain us all!

Post Script

This was the most wonderful experience I had ever had. I was glad that I did this. It has changed my outlook in life, and made me less of a cynic. The Twin Cities-Wisconsin-Chicago AIDS ride raised over $5.8 million dollars for AIDS charities. I would like to thank everyone who helped contributed and supported me through out the ride. Our success is due to you!
