Grading Policy

Dear Parents and Students:

Listed below is the Grading Criteria for this Course. Please note that Labs. are Mandated by the State of New York, therefore they are a requirement for this course.

The Final grade for the student will be Divided into the following:

(a) TESTS: 40%

(b) QUIZZES: 10%

(c) HOMEWORK: 15%

(d) LABS.: 15%

(e) PROJECTS: 10%

(f) PARTICIPATION: 10%

The grades for this course are also Cummulative, that means that all marking period grades (both past and present) are taken into consideration when deciding the FINAL grade for the Year.
