PROJECT II: PHOTOSYNTHESIS


The format of the Project is listed below:

Please note that this Project is Mandatory and that it constitutes to 10% of your Grade for the Third and Final marking period of this Semester.

PROJECT II: PHOTOSYNTHESIS

FORMAT:


This Project is due on Jan. 21st, 2005. You may work alone or in groups of 2. If you decide to work in a group, please be advised that BOTH members MUST contribute equally to the Project. This Project will be worth 10% of your Final grade for the Third marking Period.

Please attach your Project using Construction paper. Your Project should be no more than 10 Pages. Please be neat and check spelling and grammar before turning in your work. Thank you and Good Luck!!

Page 1: This page should contain an introduction of what you are going to do in this Project. Tell us a little about your knowledge about Photosynthesis and how you are going to test for photosynthesis.

Page 2: This page should contain the Problem which you are going to solve or test. This should be stated in the form of a question.

Page 3: This is your Hypothesis page. Write down a possible Hypothesis you wish to test. Recall the format of writing a Hypothesis: .If I do ..., Then this will happen...

Page 4: This page should contain your Experimental plan. How are you going to Test the Hypothesis. What are some of the factors, such as light source, and food you are going to use.

Page 5: This page should contain all the Materials and Supplies you will need to conduct the experiment. It should also contain a list of the Methods and Procedures of your Experiment.

Page 6: This page should contain a list of your data. Please use data tables, charts and /or graphs to illustrate your data more clearly. Also make a Legend so that we can understand what the data is saying.

Page 7: This is your Conclusion page. You will say whether your Hypothesis was proven or not. Make the connection using your data to show how and why your Hypothesis was proven.

Page 8: This page will be used to answer questions that were posted in your lab. sheets. Please make sure all questions are answered with complete sentences.

Page 9: On this page, say what can you do to improve the Experiment so that the results will be more accurate.

Page 10: On this page, I would like to know what were your feelings about this course. What would you like to change and how can I make this course more exiting so that we can all benefit for the next semester. Be Honest!!!
