The Truth:: The Navaho language was used by the military in W.W.II. however the language is only an oral one. Navaho code talkers were used in the Pacific theater of operations so the military could transmit vital information over the radio. The code was never broken. Comanches were also used during W.W.II, but not as extensively as the Navahos. In WW I, Choctaws were used to relay messages as code talkers.
