E.B.E:   Deep Throat comes to Mulder's aid. He reveals that after the Roswell UFO incident in 1947, the most powerful governments in the world signed a top secret treaty ordering the execution of any E.B.E. that might survive a UFO crash. Deep Throat reveals that he carried out the murder of the E.B.E., and to atone for his act, he will continue to leak Mulder top secret information.

The Truth: In early July of 1947, a rancher found a debris field on his ranch. He reported it to the local sheriff who called in members of the Roswell Army Air Field. Investigators went to the site and returned to the base with some of the material. they also discovered a second site where the majority of the a craft was found along with bodies. A press release was issued claiming the military had recovered a "flying disc." Later that day the military would claim it was just a weather balloon. The weather balloon was taken until the late 70's when one of the initial investigators from the Air base told journalists that the debris he saw was "nothing from this Earth." This case has become one of the most researched in Ufology. The military have put forth new explanations of what happened but none of them match with the reported facts of the witnesses.
