54 Turner Street
This piece was created specifically for the 1999 Seaport Festival held in June on the Salem
Commons. It is one of four works created during this time period. The other's include
"House of the Seven Gables", "Salem Witch House", and the "Grimshaw House". This particular
etching is the second generation proof. As noted on the home page, the first generation proof won an
award in the spring art show sponsored by the Reading Art Association. This is the first award
the artist received specific to a piece of work. The plate measures almost 16"x20" with the
framed print 22"x"28".
