Here's another shot of the Pinnacles. My tour book recommended going early in the morning to catch the good light and
avoid all the tourist buses from Perth. This picture shows the little the one patch of blue sky I managed to see, but the
solitude of the place was remarkable. What was also remarkable was the fact that from the tops of the dunes you could
actually see the ocean!

And here's the ocean. This is a little town called Two Rocks. Can you see why it got its name?

This picture was taken in the little town of Cervantes, named not for the author of Don Quixote but for a ship
that went down in the vicinity last century. I assume the ship was named for the Spaniard. This is Thirsty Point. Nearby
is the Thirsty Point Liquor Store. The next bay over is called Hangover Bay. Bet there's a good story there somewhere.

For ten points, what country is this? Well, yes it is Australia: the town of New Norcia was founded as a monastery in 1846
by a Spanish Benedictine monk, and he brought a little of his homeland with him. Quite disconcerting to drive through
forests of red gum trees and coming upon this little slice of the Mediterranean.
