465th Tactical Fighter Squadron,
507th Tactical Fighter Group

Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 1980-1988



The 507th Tactical Fighter Group previously parented F-105D/F Thunderchief equipped 465th Tactical Fighter Squadron from Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. Component squadron re-equipped with F-4D in the fall of 1980. Group assigned to 301st Tactical Fighter Wing of the Air Force Reserve since 25 March 1973.
Conversion from Phantoms to F-16A/B Falcon was officially completed during the spring of 1989.
