1997 Super Bowl

- Lindy's Lickers: The Lickers used big games by Stewart, Freeman, Sanders, and the Chiefs defense to win the Super Bowl. The Lickers proved throughout the season that they were by far the class of the league. Besides winning the big game, the Licker's won the weekly point title 5 times and have basically clinched the season point title.
- Banana Slugs: The Slugs managed to only lose to the Lickers by 12 points with solid performances by Brunnell, Conway, and Scott. Unfortunately, off weeks from Levens, Brown, Elam, and the Steeler defense were too much to overcome. However, the Slugs did manage to turn around their season by trading every drafted player (except the Steelers defense) and going from 3-6 to the FF super bowl.

1997 Semi Final Game 1
|
- Cracker's Nightmare: A poor week from the RBs led to playoff elimination for the Nightmare. However, the team went farther than their point total would have predicted.
- Banana Slugs: The Slugs won their 6th straight game to rise from 3-6 to the FF super bowl. Dorsey Levens continued his hot streak and the other Slugs just scored enough to win.

1997 Semi Final Game 2
|
- Lindy's Lickers: The Lickers continued as the hottest team in the playoffs easily outscoring the other 3 playoff teams and remaining the favorite to win the FF super bowl.
- Hobo's Hunters: The Hunters had enough points to beat either the Slugs or Nightmare, but they could not get enough from the QB position or from their Raider players to beat the surging Lickers.

1997 Total Season Points

- Lindy's Lickers: The Lickers easily won the yearly point title.
- Brad's Ballistic Bombers: The Hunters choked down the stretch falling into a third place tie for total points with the Slugs. The Bombers moved into second avenging there shocking failure to make the playoffs.
