Positions and their descriptions are listed below.
Serious inquiries only--we need people that are willing to dedicate their time to making this organization better :)
All positions are expected to be at each board and general meeting, and each event on time unless otherwise noted... it IS a time commitment.
Will be responsible for setting up the events for the general meetings (Game Night, Movie Night, Study Night, etc...). Is in charge of delegating duties in order to run the event, making sure that all food, drink, plasticware, and anything mentioned in the Basic Event Preparation Guideline necessary for the event is taken care of. Car preferred because of responsibility of food. Email contact is necessary, and cell phone is immensely helpful.
Social Chair

Charity Chair
Will be responsible for organizing the Human Development Fund Fundraising events. Is responsible for drafting proposals to other parties that may be interested in sponsoring our fundraising efforts, including but not limited to companies and entertainment. Is also encouraged to bring the attention of the board to charity events of interest to the Pakistani community at large. Tima will be helping you coordinate your efforts.
Bhangra Night Coordinator
only needed during first half of Spring Semester
Will be responsible for the annual Bhangra Night event, specifically making sure to be our link to the target audience of ISRU. Coordinates all dance acts, conducts tryout timings and rehearsal scheduling, and organizes the layout of the Bhangra Night. This is a LADIES ONLY event, and Diva will be helping you co-coordinate. If you love to dance, you DEFINITELY want to work with Bhangra Night!
Cultural Show Coordinator
only needed during Spring Semester
Will be responsible for coordination of practices, contact lists of those interested, acts being planned, and the timeline and layout of the show. Can refer to the basic event preparation guideline. Is in charge of those appointed for committees from BSEP Guideline. Coordinates all dance acts, conducts tryout timings and scheduling, and organizes the layout of the annual PSA Show that year. It is a really large event and responsibility--the entire board will be helping you with your responsibilities.
