The premise. A new talent agency was formed, called CJC maganement. WOB and CJC worked together, creating a contest in which the person who did the most promotion of CJC would win a prize.However, the person who ran CJC was actually a psycho. What fun. Alway do a background check people before making a deal with someone!!
Notice to All Visitors of CJCManagement.net and Reach For The Stars Contestants
It is with great disappointment to announce the termination of this website, company and operations. World of Britney.com teamed up with CJC because we thought it followed honest practices but it didn't. I spent several hours working on setting up the whole CJC Reach For The Stars Contest for this company, and they ended up frauding WoB on thousands of dollars and several hours of work.
Therefore WoB is no longer related to this company, and will not agree to host it either through the w000t! Networks located at http://www.w000t.net . I have tried to contact the CEO of the company for over a week as paycheck was supposed to be received by July 22nd for my work on the co-ordination of the talent search. 3 days passed and I had not been paid for my services. I then talked to the CEO Camilla Colburn and she promised me that the check would arrive on Thursday July 25th (She told me on Tuesday that she had a Wednesday morning scheduled UPS pickup for the paycheck) and it's now Tuesday July 30th and there is no trace of Colburn and no trace of paycheck, grace period is over.
We believed that this was an honest company, that payed it's employees and kept their promises but they failed to even stand up and instead they fled like cowards when it was time to issue the paychecks.
I personally don't want to say that the CJC Reach For The Stars Contest is over or prizes will not be given out, because I have nothing to do with the financing behind this whatsoever, I just promoted this on WoB.
I strongly advice anybody who has been involved with this company in any form to not even deal with it. If you have joined the Talent Search competition, please forget about it, and make sure you ask for the $15 this company asked you for as an application fee, because this company ended up being run by just one individual woman which has in the end shown very little knowledge in the field.
I will leave it at this, I always have to be the one writing disappointing things but I've waited for over a week and the lack of professionalism from this company has been pathetic.
Due to that this company also failed to pay for their hosting services which were included in the paycheck I was supposed to receive on July 22nd, I have the rights to seize the operation of this website and it's practices online.
If you have any complaints, or want to file a lawsuit or even try to claim your prize, contact info will follow. I personally don't have time for a lawsuit against this person but I will file a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and make sure that CJC does not continue to operate.

I am sure that after this, Mrs. Colburn will come out from wherever she has been hiding and come up with a perfect excuse for her absence, such as an illness or a problem with her phone line. Either way, in 2002 there are so many ways of contacting and reaching an individual. Whatever this company was doing got over their head and they did not have the knowledge nor experience to go through with it.
I almost resigned from this company 1 month ago because they wanted to extend the Talent Search internationally, yet they were so ignorant that they did not even have a clue about immigration laws or international laws for its procedures.
I don't know what else to say than apologize on my behalf for having put trust on this company.
