The Founding of Rome - a "picture narration"
In the story, Romulus and Remus are thrown into the river Tiber by a jealous uncle.
The babies are rescued by a she-wolf, who takes them and raises them as her own.
After a time, they are taken by a shepherd and they grow up living and working with him.
After building the city, the brothers fight over who will rule it.  Romulus kills Remus and becomes Rome's first ruler. He is pictured on his throne .  The city is named for him.
