Right from when i started this site, one feature that i wanted to add was interactivity. With that i mean a place where we, that is us transsexuals, can talk to each other.

Privatly.
Anonymously (if that is your wish).
Honestly.

Where we can share our feelings and experiences. Where we can get support from other transsexuals, who are further along in their great journey. Where we can help our younger sisters and brothers understand what's going on with them. Where there's place for our joys and tears, where we can shout out our happienes, or vent our anger.

A place that is, finaly, ours.

To do this i propose to create a Bulletin-Board. A place where you can read the messages of our sisters and brothers, and what others thought about their ideas. Where you can post your own messages, so that others can read them, and profit from your insight, or offer you advice, or just plain hugs.

For the time being this will be a simple affair. On one hand a form, where you can write your own message. On the other hand the board, where you can read what has allready been written, and reply to those messages.

I would like to be able to say that there is some wonderful script that will instantly add what you have written to the bulletin-board, but unfortunatly there isn't. I have no prior experience in web-design, and don't know any of the programming languages that are currently in use. Heck, i don't even know HTML, just enough to correct it if my web-editor doesn't do what i want it to. Also, i'd probably have to find a different server fo host this site on, because geocities won't (to my knowledge) let me use any scripts not officialy theirs.

So for the time being your posts will be sent to a designated e-mail account, from where i will retrieve them (as far as possible on a daily basis) and add them manualy to the proper threads.

I won't edit or censor your posts, don't worry about that.

But what i will do is edit out any hate-mail, harrasement, commercial posts (unless i feel that they are by companies that realy help our comunity), and stuff like that. I guess that as i write this it's not yet necesarry to say that i won't permit any flameing or slamming either, but as it is i won't permit any of this.

Truely gratefull for any input,

Ruby
