Invitation to the Champions Cup Berlin

BUR Berlin e.V. (Berlin Underwater Rugby Club) have the pleasure of inviting you to the Champions Cup Berlin in Underwater-Rugby, Germany.
In order to organise the event in time, we would like you to return the Participation form not later than 20.11.2001
(see enclosure "Intent of Participation")

2. Rules:
The international UWR rules of C.M.A.S.
3. Protest:
Written protest must be turned in to the jury of the tournament within 30 minutes after the game has ended. Protest fee is 50,-EUR.
4. Referee:
Every team has to provide one referee (with international experience) at minimum. Teams without a referee have to pay 100,- EUR.
All other Referee appointments will be done by BUR Berlin e. V.
5. Exclusion of liability:
Participation in the Champions Cup takes place at one’s own responsibility. The BUR Berlin e. V. doesn’t guarantee for any personal or material damages.

10. Entry fee:
250,-EUR per team. Paid not later as 10.12.2001
OPTIONAL costs which are not presented in the invitation:
1. Transportation from/to Airport/Trainstation and from lodging to swimming pool and back.
2. Lodging of teams. The teams participating will book and pay the lodging themselves.

11. Declaration of acknowledgement :
The invitation to the competition is accepted by returning the registration form (Intent of participation form).
12. Medical care :
Present at the swimming pool.
13. Playing mode:
Less than eight teams – all teams play against each other
More than seven teams – play in groups
A program guide follows if all registrations are received.
14. Timing Schedule:
Will be established and issued immediately after receipt of the returned
“Intent of Participation” forms, but not before 10.12.2001.
15. Lodging
A list of lodgings can be obtained through the following URLS:

16. The Champions Cup will not to be held
When less than five teams are registered.
