FLYING PLANNED EVERY WEEKEND THIS TERM (AGAIN)

FIRST PROPER RUGS SOLO

Heart congrats go out to LIZ HORSLEY who is the first ab-intio RUGS member to fly solo. Liz has been with the club from the very start and is very keen to fly, she has done nearly all her flying as a member of RUGS. Her first solo flight was completed during the summer in the Puchatz and she is now well onto the single-seat Ka8's. 

FIRST RUGS SOLOS!

Yes Yes Yes RUGS has had its first TWO solos in one day! 

Chris Lemin completed her second every solo flight after a gap of three years. Gareth Berry (that's me that is) completed his/my first solo flight in a glider. So we are well happy. We have still to have a ab-initio pilot go solo, so that particular 'prize' is up for grabs.
