Yi's Entry for August 8-9, 2007

This year is my "1987 Back to China" Twenty Years Anniversary.  Now it is peak summer time.  OHIO is humid and hot, nearly as hot as in Changsha.  It may be a good time for us, our university professors and families to exchange a few thoughts.  I have made following interesting discoveries:

(1) A week ago in OHIO, I saw a rising and setting red sun as red as the sun on the Japanese flag.  It has been about 40 years since I first sung "The sun is the most red...".  I have never seen a red sun before.  I have heard people from northern China say they saw red suns.  I'd like to know your experience.

(2) According to the Planet Finder software on www.lightandmatter.com, the inner planets and the moon except for Mars will form a straight line with the sun on August 12.  The moon will be next to the Venus.  The outer planets are nicely positioned to prevent the moon or our own earth to be taken away by Venus.  The human kind can not develop space programs to compete with the planets without destroying the earth.  A mature scientist should have found that the human kind does not even know about the moon and the moon landing stories were theatric indeed.  Human beings are bound to the earth and can not escape from it.

(3) I have made many scientific discoveries and are continuing to write them up.  For example, I have found that our earth may be a satellite of the moon or the earth and the moon are twin equal planets following one another at 180 degrees in the same broad orbit.  I also discovered that the Eve Adam's longevity of 930 years at about 3500 BC, as described in the Genesis of the Holy Bible, could have been mistaken for lunar months, that is, only 77.5 solar years.  Eve's family's longevity actually evolved to 120 solar years at 1500 BC.  I would welcome others to work towards living healthy happy longevity on the everlasting earth.

United States President Bush used the 911 event of 2002 to remind people of the 1911 Chinese revolution led by Sun ZhongShan (Yatsen, Wen, YiXian).

Ten days ago I saw a rising perfectly round red sun in Dublin, OHIO. This was the first time I have ever seen it. Unfortunately I lost all my cameras. By using the PlanetFinder software on www.lightandmatter.com, I found that tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM will be a brief solar eclipse. It should be visible in America and Europe. The Mercury, Venus, Moon, and earth will be on a straight line. If any one would take a photograph, please email a copy to me. Thanks. From Dr. Yi at Dublin Library.

It is 18:34 on Sunday. As I am writing, I can see out of the Window the sun behind a dark cloud. It looks sometimes like a white circle behind the cloud. I did not see any moon's shape on the sun today, possibly because the eclipse is only half. For the next solar eclipse a lunar month from now, the sun will be 3/4 covered by the moon. I will try again. But, what a success today. I tried different types of clothing to cover the eyes when looking at the sun. The best is a color pillow case, especially when made wet with water. I will be able to pass this valuable knowledge to others to protect against the sun shine. The best protection is the fresh water cloud in the sky. I hae felt the breeze from the cloud today and before. This is an important fact to assert that the agriculture and forestry in southern China is the most scientific, advanced and developed agriculture on the planet earth.

The following NASA webpage shows that there will be a total moon eclipse on August 28 at 2:00-4:00: http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/LEmono/TLE2007Aug28/TLE2007Aug28.html

Today is cloudy and cool. Starting from Agust 12, the day of the solar eclipse, the weather got cooler, particularly during the night. My feeling is that it is mainly because the sun wind blew away the moisture cover of the ground. This demonstrates that the atmosphere of the earth are exchanged on a monthly basis except for the air in the deep valleys. The two weeks of extreme heat was partly due to the sun coming back to the equator from the north and partly due to the microwave effects of the moisture cover of the ground. Such effects are blamed on the sun as well as artificial and noise electromagnetic waves that are all around us. We know that outgoing radio waves depend on the cloud to get reflected back the earth to reach the receivers. Again, it is high time to worry about happy longevity on the everlasting planet earth for ourselves and for the generations to come!

Last night was cool. This morning was sunny and warm. It got cloudy in the afternoon. At this moment, there cool wind and fully cloudy in the sky as if it is going to rain. Cool nights are typical of days when the moon and the sun are close in the sky.
