What is Meishu?

You won't believe the amount of times I have to explain this - heeheeheehee... and it's so difficult to do so too *sighs* well - let's see....

Basically - VERY basically - Meishu is Star and Hana-Ling.  It was set up when we were both young nippers of around, um, 13 years old.  The original plan was our own manga magazine to be published, much like you would read Shonen Jump or Afternoon.  It would contain our own manga that we ourselves created.

Due to our present (young) age, and schooling, and serious lack of finance as well as time, this dream has been somewhat - pushed to one side - for the time being anyway.  But I still have all the scripts and frames written for our original manga buried somewhere under the piles of school work in my bedroom, and the different storylines written on various scraps of paper in my 'fic folders'.  Needless to say that the majority of the stories I've written were composed during a steady flow of incredibly boring lessons at school ^.~

But what is Meishu now then?

Oh - now you mean? Heh - well... Meishu has evolved into an extensive network on the internet doing - well - pretty much everything ^.~.  We presently have many different fan sites dedicated to various different manga and anime (most of which are unfinished due to my 'legendary' reputation of never finishing my websites - heeheehee)  We also presently run two e-magazines:  The Meishu Jrock E-Mag, and Picasso's Tears.  One is Jrock orientated, the other manga and anime.
We boast over 50 staff members for our emags, as well as over 200 subscribers for each.

So, what is the point of all this?

*shrugs* I dunno.

Why do you have this on your Rukawa-Uke shrine?

*taps head* publicity m'dear - heh heh.

So - if this is a big network on the internet, with two emags - why haven't I heard of it?

Because you've obviously not been looking in the right place now, have you?

Join?  Well - you can certainly become one of our staff for the emags.  You should refer to the individual emag sites and forums to find out how to do that ^.~ They can all be accessed via the Meishu Mainpage, the link for which is provided above.
