4.6 magnitute quake jolts southeast Ambon
Bandar Lampung (ANTARA News) - A quake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale
jolted Southeast Ambon in Maluku at 13:54 local time on Sunday, a report from the
Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said.
Located 136 km from South Ambon, the quake`s epicenter lies 4,77 decrees South
Longitude and 128,61 degrees East Lattitude in a depth of 262 km in the ocean.
The agency also reported that a similar quake also hit Malang, East Java, at 4 a.m
local time on Sunday.
Located 84 km southwest of Malang, the quake`s epicenter lies 8,76 degrees South
Longitude and 112,57 degrees East Lattitude. (*)
