Bomb hoax at U.S. embassy in Jakarta
JAKARTA (ANTARA): Press Attache of the United States embassy in Jakarta Max
Kwak confirmed that there was a bomb threat against the embassy, but the police
and the building's security personnel after a thorough search on Thursday did not find
anythingsuspicious.
"It appeared that it was only a hoax. After we combed the entire embassy premises,
nothing suspicious," he said.
The information on the bomb threat was received by the embassy from the Indonesian
police management supervisory unit in Jakarta at about 11:20 a.m, Kwak said. (***)
