Bomb hoax in market sparks traders' unrest
GORONTALO (Antara): Bomb hoax Thursday sparked hundreds of traders' panic in a
central market of Gorontalo city, a report says.
Gorontalo City Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Herman Chaidir said that a police officer
received a short message service (SMS), saying that a bomb would immediately
explode at certain area at Gorontalo market.
After receiving an information from his officer, Herman sent anti-bomb squad to sweep
the area, but they did not find any bombs in the market.
He said the police was now investigating the number of cellular phone used to carry
out the bomb hoax. (**)
