Police arrest terror suspect arrested in Temanggung, Central
Java
JAKARTA (Antara): A village head said that he saw Anti-terror police had arrested a
terror suspect identified as JK during an operation in Purwosari village, Kranggan
district, Temangung regency, Central Java.
"Yesterday (Wednesday), a number of police detectives coming with two cars
arrested JK. A gun shot was heard," Karno Budi, the village head, was quoted by
Antara news agency as saying, Thursday.
Temanggung Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Bastomi Sanap confirmed the arrest, saying
that the operation was carried out by anti-terror police.
In the same day, police killed one suspected terror and arrested two others in Sleman
regency, Yogyakarta. Large amount of explosive materials were found in Sukaharjo
regency, also in Central Java, Wednesday. (**)
