President to attend National Family Day in Ambon
AMBON(Antara): President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his wife Ani Yudhoyono
are expected to attend the celebration of the 14th anniversary of the National Family
Day (Harganas) in Ambon on June 29, 2007, a regional government spokesman said
Saturday.
During his planned visit in Ambon, the President isalso scheduled to attend Friday
prayers at Al Fatah Grand Mosque , regional government spokesman Anthon
Lekahena said.
He said, after attending the Harganas event, the President would head straight to the
mosque to attend a Friday prayer service.
Lekahena said the presence of the president, cabinet ministers and ambassadors of
friendly countries would be a great honor for the people of Maluku province.
The President and his entourage were scheduled to arrive in Ambon on June 28, 2007.
