Police find 12.5 kilograms explosive materials in East Java
SURABAYA (Antara): Police Monday found 12.5 kilograms of TNT, explosive material,
in a house in the second largest Indonesian city of Surabaya, East Java.
Antara news agency reported that the explosive material was found at the house on
Jl. Simo Gunung Baru Jaya Blok D III/74 owned by Achmad Sahrul Umam alias
Khoirul.
Last week, the police also founded more than 500 kilograms of explosive materials,
hundreds of bullets, and dozens of firearms in Central Java town of Sidoharjo, Central
Java. The police also killed one suspected terror and detained several others both in
Yogyakarta and Central Java provinces.
There is no immediate information about the link of explosive materials in East Java
and Central Java. (**)
