NEUROMA PAIN
Neuroma pain is described as the burning pain on the top of the foot just before the third and fourth toes. It can also be an aching or shooting pain in the same area.
It might occur in the middle of a run or at the end of a long run. If your shoes are too tight, it might occur at the beginning of your run.
It is cause by the pinching of the nerve running between the bones of the toes.
To self-treat the condition try:
Wearing wider toe shoes
Loosen the laces on the forfoot of your shoes
Wear proper shoes that do not squeeze your toes
Orthotics
If your condition does not respond to self-help, seek professional medical attention.
