SIDEACHES (Commonly known as a "STITCH")
When you get a stitch, there are some different things you can do as a remedy:

1. Try changing your breathing. Take a couple of very deep
breaths as you slow your pace.
2. Try slowing down. That pain in your side could be a message
from your body to slow down.
3. Try massaging the area of the sideache. You can maintain your     pace and use the hand on the side of the ache.
To prevent getting the "stitch", here's some tips:
1. Do not eat and run. Let about three hours pass after eating before you
    start running.
2. Do not drink a large amount of fluid before running.
3. Strengthen your muscles gradually. Increase your running
(speed/distance) slowly, especially if you are just starting out in running.
